Life changing...

Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy, Louise Maude, Aylmer Maude

Everyone either knows or has heard of this epic Russian novel by Leo Tolstoy. I am going to go as far as saying I believe that it is the Perfect Novel.

If you are hesitant in picking up this work, please don't be any longer. The writing style is easy to read which makes the sometimes heavy subject matter seem a lot less daunting.

If you have read any classical literature before, particularly the likes of Jane Eyre, and have taken them into your heart,  then I believe you will come to love Anna et al just as easily.

I have to share this book!

Wool Omnibus (Silo, #1, Wool, #1-5) - Hugh Howey Shift Omnibus Edition (Silo, #2, Wool, #6-8) - Hugh Howey

I recently read Hugh Howey's AMAZING post-apocolyptic/dystopian masterpiece "WOOL". I know this book is getting plenty of coverage elsewhere in the internet world, but I just wanted to do my bit too! It is the best I have ever read in the genre.

Originally released as 5 novellas, the omnibus edition combines all of them to create an amazing story. It's intelligent, thought-provoking and best of all it has some brilliant female characters in it.

Perfect for pretty much everyone, men and women alike, but I especially recommend this book to people that have only read YA dystopia, who want to delve into something a little more challenging.

However, the editions of this book are confusing me somewhat - I believe they recently renamed the Omnibus edition to just "Wool" (which was originally what the first installment was called) - but for easiness sake, if the book has approx 550pages you know you are reading the book that contains all 5.

I have the next in the series "SHIFT" (Wool #2 books 6-8) on pre-order!
